Enterprise Department

The Enterprise Department is PCDT’s newest department and works with many organisations providing them with support at a cost.

The Skills within PCDT which can offer to other groups include:

• Business Planning
• Review Days to help you develop your future direction
• Project Development
• Feasibility Studies
• Funding applications (preferably with the aim to give you the skills to do it with less support in the future)
• Research, surveys, strategic document collation, focus groups
• Youth Work, youth consultations
• Event Management

Work to date includes:

Basset Community Development Trust:
Successful application for funding and support with a Feasibility Study and subsequent Business Plan.
East Cornwall CVS:
Research Project – The Needs of the Voluntary and Community Sector in the Caradon Area. Caradon Sustainability Forum.
Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum:
Local Area Agreement support and VCS Survey Work.
Cornwall Infrastructure Partnership:
Authoring their strategy and Business Plan.
IVO – The Independent Voluntary Organisations Children's Workforce Development Network for Cornwall:
Annual Review facilitation and development of their Annual Action Plan.
Unity Cornwall:
Provided them with a Review Day and subsequently developed their Annual Action Plan.
Lizard Outreach Trust:
A review of their existing policies and procedures and then supported them with a fuller complement of policies to enable them to employ staff confidently.
