What is Penwith Community Development Trust?
Penwith Community Development Trust, (PCDT), is a charitable and not-for-profit organisation which was formally set up in 1999. It aims to work in partnership towards the economic, environmental and social regeneration of the community. The following is the mission statement of PCDT:
“Penwith Community Development Trust works to be a self-sustaining organisation actively challenging economic exclusion and promoting social inclusion by establishing and managing innovative, high quality projects of acknowledged benefit to the local communities".

Statement of Intent:
Penwith Community Development Trust recognises that everyone has a contribution to make to our society and a right to equal treatment. Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults:
PCDT has signed up to the Multi-Agency Policy for the Protection of Vulnerable Adults from Abuse and Neglect in Cornwall. It has a commitment to ensure all staff and volunteers understand and adhere to the principles and procedures within that policy. As part of this commitment staff and volunteers who may work with vulnerable adults will be given more in depth training.
